Black High School Alumni Dinner/Dance
The NC Association of Black High School Alumni After-Thanksgiving
Dinner/Dance was held on Nov. 25, 2011 at the
Gateway Convention Center, Rocky Mount, NC. It was a great success and
with an attendance of 250 guests. Carver
Alumni is a charter member of the organization. National Pres. Leah S.
Vines is Assistant Treasurer of NCABHSA and
local Pres. James Collins serves as Sergeant at Arms.

Vines Wins Re-election
Congratulations to National President Leah S. Vines who was
re-elected to a third term as Pinetops
Town Commissioner in the November 8, 2011 election. Commissioner Vines and
Marsha Cooper
represented Pinetops at Electricities 2011 Annual Conference at Grove Park Inn
in Ashville, NC
August 25-28, 2011.
